Care method

   Washing:

Machine Wash, Normal.

Wash in any water temperature, detergent or soap.

Machine Wash, Cold.

Wash in water temperature not exceeding 30C

Machine Wash, Warm.

Wash in water temperature not exceeding 40C

Machine Wash, Hot.

Wash in water temperature not exceeding 50C

Machine Wash, Permanent Press

Wash in settings to preserve permanent press

Machine Wash, Gentle or Delicate

Wash in settings with gentle and/or reduced time for delicate items.

Hand Wash

Hand-wash with gentle movement, using water with detergent or soap.

Do Not Wash

Garment may not be wash by any process. Usually accompanied by a dry-clean sign.

   Bleaching:

Bleach When Needed

Any commercially available bleach may be used when wash.

Non-Chlorine Bleach When Needed

Only non-chlorine, color-safe bleach may be used when wash.

Do Not Bleach

No bleach product may be used. This garment is not colorfast or structurally designed to withstand any bleach.

   Drying:

Tumble Dry, Normal

Able to dry regularly in any hottest available setting in the machine dryer.

Tumble Dry, Normal, Low Heat

Able to dry regularly in maximum of low heat setting in the machine dryer.

Tumble Dry, Normal, Medium Heat

Able to dry regularly in maximum of medium heat setting in the machine dryer.

Tumble Dry, Normal, High Heat

Able to dry regularly in maximum of high heat setting in the machine dryer.

Tumble Dry, Normal, No Heat

Able to dry regularly only in no heat/air setting in the machine dryer.

Tumble Dry, Permanent Press

Able to dry regularly only in permanent press setting in the machine dryer.

Tumble Dry, Gentle

Able to dry regularly only in gentle setting in the machine dryer.

Do Not Tumble Dry

Machine Dryer may not be used, usually accompanied by another drying symbol.

Do Not Dry

Machine Dryer may not be used, usually accompanied by another drying symbol.

Line Dry

Hang wet garment in a line or bar, in or outdoor.

Drip Dry

Hang dripping wet garment in a line or bar, in or outdoor.

Dry Flat

Lay out garment horizontally for drying.

Dry In Shade

Dry away from direct sunlight.

   Wringing/Squeezing:

Do Not Wring/Squeeze

Do not wring/Squeeze after wash.

   Ironing:

Iron, Any Temperature, Steam or Dry

Able to iron regularly in any temperature, steam or dry.

Iron, Low

Able to iron regularly in low heat setting (110C), with or without steam.

Iron, Medium

Able to iron regularly in medium heat setting (150C), with or without steam.

Iron, High

Able to iron regularly in high heat setting (200C), with or without steam.

Do Not Steam

Do not use steam ironing, dry ironing at indicated heat setting may be performed.

Do Not Iron

Do not use iron, steam or dry.

   Dry-cleaning:

Dry-clean

Dry-clean with any solvent, any moisture, any heat, any cycle.

Dry-clean, Any Solvent

Dry-clean with any solvent, usually accompanied with other dry-clean instruction.

Dry-clean, Petroleum Solvent Only

Dry-clean with any petroleum solvent, usually accompanied with other dry-clean instruction.

Dry-clean, Any Solvent Except Trichloroethylene

Dry-clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene, usually accompanied with other dry-clean instruction.

Dry-clean, Short Cycle

Dry-clean using the short cycle.

Dry-clean, Reduced Moisture
